STREET STYLE APHABET: F as FURS

"E nessuna cosa più che una pelliccia di lontra, in tempo piovoso, suscita nei riguardanti il desiderio dell’intimità dell’amore."
The Child of Pleasure, Gabriele D'Annunzio, 1889

STREET STYLE APHABET: E as EVER-MOVING

E as the EVER-MOVING photographs and photographers.
Street style has undergone a remarkable evolution since its very beginning, when the photographers took vertical and quite static pictures of their stylish muses.
Nowadays street style is all about movement and the action that goes on during fashion weeks.

Fast pace not only in the pictures that portrait women talking, walking and running to the shows, but also (and literally) for the photographers, who seek motion and style of course.

STREET STYLE ALPHABET: D as DETAILS

The combination of contrasting fabrics, fur on shoes, eye-catching bags.
A simple detail can change the whole look, and street style photographers know it well.
Capturing a moment means capturing a detail, a move, a gesture.

FASHION PHOTOGRAPHERS: SCOTT SCHUMAN

Scott Schuman is the man behind the well-known street style photography blog The Sartorialist.
He launched his blog in 2005, with the idea of creating a two-way dialogue about the world of fashion and its relationship to daily life.
The Sartorialist quickly became a must reading, a reference point and a fashion bible.
Scott Schuman’s photography tells a story and translates an emotion, but most of all it aims to be real.
“I’m not reporting on a bag; who’s carrying what bag and who’s wearing what dress.
I’m not reporting on people.
What I am looking for is a certain grace.”
